Does homeowners or renters insurance fully cover items in storage units?

This is the only thing you need to know before putting your stuff in a storage unit.

We learned it the hard way.

When we moved, we put basically our entire life into a storage unit.

And honestly?

We thought we were being so smart about it.

We bought the expensive lock.

We labeled every box.

We organized everything perfectly.
